If your dog has completed our puppy program they can join our classes immediately. If they have not, it is recommended that they are 6 months of age to join.
Does my puppy need to be vaccinated to join puppy classes
Yes, this is to protect them and our other dogs that come to classes.
Do you use positive only methods to train dogs
We use a mixture of methods which are all ethical and never cause harm or distress to your pet. Different dogs respond to varied training methods and we do not restrict our practise by naming ourselves 'positive only'
What can I expect to achieve from my behaviour modification sessions
Each dog and their behaviour needs are very different. We will ensure that you are given a clear plan to follow through when you leave us. We pride ourselves on making changes to your dogs behaviour as quickly as possible, but will not rush things to the detrament of your dog being able to cope and learn effectively.
Will There be Homework After Classes
Yes, after obedience classes and puppy classes each week there is homework given to owners. This helps both you and your dog to bond, practise and speeds up the learning process with a higer success rate.
Can I Book a 1-2-1 Session for General Obedience
Absolutely, we have lots of owners who worry that their dog isn't ready for a class environment and choose either a home visit or come to the training ground.
What Can You Cover in Behaviour Modification Sessions
Anything, you tell us the issues you are experiencing and we will come up with a plan to help you and your dog. We offer home visits as well as sessions at our training ground, so we can cover any aspect of behaviour modification to suit your needs.
Do You Deal With Aggressive Dogs That Have a Bite History
Yes, we absolutely do. We understand how this type of behaviour can have a huge impact on both you and your dog. We aim to give you as much support and guidance as we can through proper training and management.
Do You Provide Equipment
Yes, we have lots of equipment that can be used during classes, however, if youb plan to join us long trrm, it is probably wise to purchase your own equipment once you know that the sessions are suitable for you.
