Training your puppy should be fun and engaging.
Keep your training sessions short to keep them engaged and eager, train whilst you boil the kettle. Try lots of different reward types, food, verbal praise, play, physical praise etc. When teaching a new behaviour, keep it simple and lure with food if needed, but get rid of the lure ASAP.
